Gary, Not sure what the question is. Paul was basically talking P&F price objectives using both horizontal and vertical counts. Best to refer to the book to get a clear definition, though Lost1 and a couple of others can give you the formulas off of the top of their heads. He was basically confirming what OJ said, probably to give him moral support on the thread.
