Mani, Wasn't it paul, with Elmer's help, who was ranting on and on about the supposed failure of an Athlon at one of the first public demos. To listen to them at the time you would have thought that the Athlon was dead in the water before it was ever launched. I looked for a link but could not find one. Mayby Steve (King Of All Links) Harris can find the link. ajb

Given where we are now, do you have any concerns in the future for T-bird at say 1.5GHz with on chip 256K L2 cache. Is this a non issue for Athlon for the remainder of the .18um generation.
