Agilent introduced a Photonic Switching Platform today: agilent.com Sounds interesting from this release, as a component in the all optical network. It will be introduced at a networking conference tomorrow and after that more info will be on Agilent's web site (bottom of the business release). Agilent closed +51 today at 159, but there are likely to be other factors involved in the price action, specifically a low float as part of the spinoff process from HP. George
