The instant supply exceeds demand, the price of raw flash memory will crash through the floor. At that point, anyone could build an unlimited amount of CF (or whatever) and flood the market.

This is addresses my point exactly. No one else can build CF cards without infringing on SNDK patents. This is one reason why the Lexar suit is so important.

I am surprised that my post didn't generate more discussion.
