Paul,

Please post the last 16 quarterly "earnings or losses" - OR earnings/losses per share - of AMD and Intel.

I don't have that information handy. When I bought AMD shares (a little over a month ago for the first time), I mainly invested because of current and future earnings. The direction of time is forward. After Q4 99, there will be Q1 2000 etc.

We will see if INTC can catch up AMD's profitability in the upcoming quarters.

Joe

Re. your link -"Compaq is expected to release an Athlon system while HP and IBM are likely to introduce Pentium III 1-GHz systems."

Do you really consider the words "likely to introduce" to be a definitive statement re. the use of the Intc chip, when available ?
Regards,
John
