Well it could be worse. At least he's making them money. How about those slim brokers who prey on old folks by selling them stock that they are just trying to unload?

poor old lady... if she wasn't so old.. I'd have spent more time with her explaining that in 18 years if you didn't grow your account by 1000% then something was TERRIBLY wrong.. especially with what has taken place in the last 3 years.. and that it is time to switch brokers.. i assume that she was giving me her best example... so if that's her best return over an 18 year period.. then no wonder they weren't able to retire in luxury.. you'd think an architect of 40+ years in business would have retired gracefully.. now I know why he (her husband) worked up until his 70s -- i know their broker too.. friend of the family... what a jerk jim
