Trilobyte, all well intentioned/expressed comments are appreciated. Our TOMmy thread has been a pretty good one, and your comments add to it. Feedback: 1). I agree. 2). I disagree. 3). I agree/disagree. Stock picking is an art, but when combined with reasonable selection criteria, can lower one's risk. I've selected Co's based solely on the "hype ability" of the players. One of my biggest gains was from one such play. My biggest loss, we're talkin' 6 figures, was also from one such play. 4). I agree. For 95% of people, entertaining the idea of investing in penny stocks is dangerous. There are definite gems out there, but you have to walk through a mine field to find them. Most people don't have the time, skills, or resources, to survive such a journey. Regards, JT
