Actually a month by month basis, and the numbers speak for themselves, nem is a superior investment to make money on a trading basis. Barrick has blown their cover and that is why the stock is trading so low and in all probability will continue to lanquish. Ad nauseum, gold investors are not interested in clean balance sheets, they want leverage to the price of gold, not leverage to the amount of gold that can be leased/produced, resulting in too much supply to the market and depressed prices.
