I too have been having lots of problems with Waterhouse. The Bang you mention must be contagious.

Richard, I think you are just unlucky,, I place 2-3 orders a day with SCHWAB and have had no problems, except for the times they had to switch systems. All things considered, from my end everything has been running well..

Ummm...Richard, where have you been the past 18 months? I remember being able to get a rep on the phone within seconds in 1998. Ahh, the good ol' days...

Bottom line: do NOT trade w/Schwab the 1st or last 1/2 hour of the market; NEVER use a market order w/Schwab because you never know when your trade will be boated and how long that process will take; lower your expectations for service because Schwab certainly has.
