Micron Announces Distribution Agreement With LG International Corporation
BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 7, 2000--Micron Technology, Inc. (NYSE:MU - news), today announced the signing of a distributor agreement with LG International Corporation (LGI). Designated by the Korean government as a ``General Trading Company,' LGI is a major importer and exporter of electronic products in Korea and will distribute Micron's full line of semiconductor memory components in Korea. LG International imports components for many Korean electronics companies and will also support product needs within LG.

``We believe our agreement with LGI positions us well for future growth in the Korean electronics industry,' said Mike Sadler, Micron's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ``As we continue to optimize our manufacturing processes and expand our DRAM, SRAM, and Flash semiconductor product lines, we believe LGI is the right distributor to help us take advantage of opportunities in Korea.'
