Thanks for your perspective. I still believe in the strong future of the CPU business. Only 1.7% of the world's population has a computer. As the installed base increases, upgrades will increase as well. There will be new killer apps like voice recognition that may cause everyone to upgrade at once. Intel also has a great shot of moving higher up the server food chain with Itanium. The CPU business is great right now, and by all accounts it could have been even better.

I would hate to sell Intel, but would not hold it just to participate in the new businesses. There are other companies that do those businesses much better.
