Windows 2000 to boost shares of software firms

Share prices of software-related companies are likely to rise in the wake of Microsoft's release of Windows 2000 today, said Hanyang Securities.

Hanyang named as investment targets Jeong Moon Information, an authorized Microsoft dealer, local retailer Daou Data System, Insung Information, Haansoft, which makes MS software in CDs, and Taera, which developed a Windows 2000-based home trading system.
