More testing of a S&P 500 'benchmark' low?
Nope. Benchmark low (Feb 25) is 1333. The purist would say that the 10/15/99 closing low of 1245 needs to be tested before we can march forward because the 10/15/99 Dow benchmark low of 10,020 was retested. Speaking of the Dow, it gets a new benchmark close today because it took out the 9860? close on 2/15/00. Don't hold your breath waiting for NAZ 2732 to get taken out!

So much for theory that works well in bull markets. Today we had tremendous news at 8:30, a runup followed by the market tanking. I am not saying that this is a bear market. I'm just saying that it is certainly acting like one. Two recent Fridays had good pre open news, a run up for an hour or so, and then a market tank.

May your indicators guide you through turbulent times.
