I don't know about the rest of you guys, but i've blown about 50 grand each month for the last 6 months on WAY WAY out of the money ndx puts, "just in case." I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I missed the biggest financial collapse in the history of the world. If the dung dropped 1000 points tomorrow, assuming the brokerage didn't go bust, I'd make 8 digits, even after paying 49% tax. >even if the Nasdaq dropped 1000 points tomorrow, the majority of >"poots" outstanding on this thread would STILL not be in the money....

David, first of all, thank you very much for coming here pounding your chest... secondly, i'm not a 'bear'. i'm a trader. i have long and short positions, and guess what, they're all doing well. and yes, the NDX got whacked. it was up over 100 points at one time during the day and down almost 100 at its low. from its intra day high to its close it lost 3,8%...that's 'whacked', alright. oh, and yes, i do have puts which i loaded up on last week...your last comment indicates that you don't have much understanding of options, but no problem, it's your loss. i'm not into comparing dick sizes, but allow me to point out, this 'bear' is outperforming every index so far this year... including the NAZ. but hey, you're welcome to come over here whenever you like...we just love it when the new era clowns show up here.
