In turns out Mosesmann was wrong about the graphics chip selected for X-Box, so I would not trust his guess for the CPU. Microsoft pairs with Nvidia on X-Box gaming console semibiznews.com; Robert, But it was an easy mistake.....Gigapixel had moved their design team over to a MSFT bldg last weekend...Gigapixel was truly surprised when they didn't get it. Besides how many contenders can there be for the cpu position.....3 at most? I can't see MO or TI or ALTR getting involved. ted

Na! That would require a completely different board because of EV6/P6 bus differences. Plus I am 100% sure Intel will not be supporting two different memory technologies on the X-Box & I suspect they have chosen either PC-133 or PC2100 (DDR). I think this thing will be ready for Christmas and 2001 is a smokescreen. For Intel, there's always 2002... Petz
