NEM is right smack dab at some of the nastiest resistance that you will see on any chart...With the internals actually firming up (the HILO bullish percent turned positive yesterday), I am not overly bullish on gold.

And I don't just buy names...I don't think that anybody on this thread does that. We look at the charts and pick stocks that have either bottomed or are showing strength. We also look to see whether or not the sector is oversold or overbought and whether or not the sector has general sponsorship.

Personally, I like to buy stocks that I know are good but have been beaten up a bit, have bottomed and are giving good buy signals. Others like junkyardawg, like to buy on the breakouts to new highs.

If NEM hits 26, I will put half of my port into it. Until then, I consider it to be very close to a sell.
