In the long run, wouldn't it be preferable to have a Democrat inherit this crumbling economy (mostly of their own making) than some poor smuck Republican? When the sheeple look for someone to blame for the loss of their retirement accounts, I would rather have Gore at the helm. And, when the so called budget surplus evaporates, I would prefer the Democrats explain how they need to raise taxes to save Social Security. On the other hand, I agree that Gore would not be good if we go at it with the PRC.
