From RB: <<I'm not voting against the RS, but I do question the ratio of 10:1. Why not 8:1 or 7:1 and leave us small investors with some shares?>>
If the news comes out as has been indicated, and the stock price goes to $1.25 or $1.50, a 1-for-5 split would be all that's needed to take us over $5.00 and qualify us for the NASDAQ. Apparently, there was concern on somebody's part that the price would not go up enough on news, or the stock price would drift down below $5.00. With a 1-for-10 split, the danger of the stock tagging $5 is pretty slim. Getting out of this OTC:BB hell-hole is worth having our share totals cut. After all, there is no net loss unless there is a sell-off. If the stock does make the NASDAQ and is close to profitability, the price may appreciate rapidly. In this case, a 2-for-1 forward split may soon follow. The net effect of both splits would be 1-for-5, in which case I was right all along!
