My former career was being a utility regulator. I saw it there -- most (regulators) are simply whoring around to find a job with one of the concerns they regulate.

I probably p*ssed enough of them (utilities) off that they'd never hire me, but still I wound up going to work in the utility industry -- though not one we regulated.
