Andy, if LSI isn't up a gazillion bucks a day, we get complaints. Maybe when it exceeds the GDP, everyone will be happy?

Hi Andy,

I agree, LSI held together well during what looked to me like some profit taking. The stock has already negated most indications for the downside and could easily move up from here. OTOH, if the market continues to weaken for soap and cleaning products, drugs, on-line pet food, or insurance companies then LSI might fall in sympathy, but I see good support at ~58/61.

I was glad to see a close at 73 b/c it showed that LSI was set up for moving in either direction today, but more likely up.....which told me that the stock was simply being traded and the drop in price most likely had nothing to do with the company.

I've been staying long, and so not really watching the day to day. I will probably not sell my shares in LSI until after PlayStation2 hits the USA, and even then I might hold it longer. At the moment I simply see no reason to sell it and if it goes to 58 again I will try to add to my position.

Staying long LSI!

E

It is a strong stock, but it can also frustrate the hell out of you. With 70% of the shares held by institutions, when they take profits, like they have in the past, the price plummets real fast. Really frustrating, especially on days when the NAS is up 50 - 100 points.
