Fli---you, JMHollen, JBishop, Jorj, SSP, Katie et al are the true icons. I'm just a smart ass musician with a sense of humor, someone willing to call it as I see it, and a good luck streak going....Remember, I'm the goof that SOLD 10k shares of ECNC on the first run to $2. crap crap crap crap crap crap crap. I only have 1500 left...whaaaaaaaaa. But other picks of mine that were purchased with the proceeds are doing well.

I'm also the guy who told my wife to sell Apple at $33 (we bought at $15). It's $120 now.. DOH. And we've been sitting on ICUT for a year...dog dog dog...

But I still have my LGOV, TEXN, TXMC and stuff :>)

Seriously..I'm flattered, but I'm pretty much a newbie as well. I've only been at this for 6 months. I do A LOT OF LURKING and reading as many posts as I can. I honestly DON'T do as much DD as I should..probably because there are others that are SOOOOO freakin good at it on SI.

What I DO do, is trust my gut instincts MOST of the time, in regards to buying stocks. I read, read and read. If the company is doing stuff that _I_ think is cool or is a product I would use, I get it. I've passed on MANY a recommendation that would have turned out to be good financially, just because it didn't thrill me.

I've also learned not to sell too soon...amature mistakes..Investing IS for the long term, and learning when to get out, take your profit, and get back in takes YEARS. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the gang on The Golden Lists and SI in genereal...(I"M NOT WORTHY) and I learn something new every day I'm online.

happy trading!!!!!
