Could explain why AMTD suddenly closed up $1/4 in the green during the last 10 minutes of trading after spending the afternoon in the red. No mention of an afterhours run, however.

HMMMMMMMM... AMTD looking for a buyer... that could really spice things up... Etrade could buy them... and if they don't... someone is bound to start discussing the possibility of Etrade themselves being bought out..

this should help rally the OLBs higher... but moreso when AMTD finds a buyer

As someone with an Ameritrade acct, i am not too comfortable with them selling the co.

Any thoughts?
