TEXN news ~biz.yahoo.com 21st Century Technologies Inc. to Attend HAZMAT 2000 Spills Prevention Conference FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 7, 2000--Ken Wilson, Chairman of 21st Century Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:TEXN - news) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Trident Technologies Corp. will have a booth at the upcoming HAZMAT 2000 Spills Prevention Conference, April 4 - 6. This conference provides an opportunity for communities, industry, states, and nations to examine existing policies and tools that foster hazardous material accident prevention, preparedness, and response activities. The conference is sponsored by the EPA, USCG, DOT, The Great Lakes Commission, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, just to name a few. Realizing that many in the Maritime/Response industry have heard of the Sea Patch, Trident feels that this will be tremendous exposure for the Sea Patch System. With this captive audience, the company will be able to demonstrate the Sea Patch to key figures in the industry and let them actually see the Patch put to the test. Thursday, March 9, 2000, Trident will be showing the Sea Patch to the Baton Rouge Office of the Coast Guard, as well as the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinators office. Trident has also been working with some Louisiana politicians who have expressed interest in the Sea Patch and are working together to arrange a meeting to discuss the possibilities of the Sea Patch from a political standpoint. On Wednesday, March 22, Trident will go to Kirby Inland Marine for the second time. The first demonstration went perfectly, so now Trident has been requested to do a second demo for additional officials within the company. Kirby Inland Marine recently merged with Hollywood Marine to form the largest inland towing company that transports chemicals and petroleum products.
