Nothing to do with the stock here....

I'm starting to realize that there are two worlds in the Waterhouse area...

observe

Americans get this site:

tdwaterhouse.com

and Canadians get this

tdwaterhouse.ca

also...

Americans pay $12 U.S. Currency for 5000 listed stocks..

Canadians pay $29 U.S. Currency for 1000 listed stocks.

TWE Canada isn't having the occasional problem...

It has been a regular event for the past three years, but recently, over the past two months, it has been every single day...

For instance, Webbroker, TDaccess, Talkbroker, and access to a physical person, was impossible from Feb 10, 2000 - Feb 12, 2000

in that period, this outage, and the impossibility of access the account, cost us $90,000 U.S.

In fact, the more I discuss this, the angrier I get....

We can survive the financial loss, but, here it is March 8th and TWE has yet to return my emails, phone calls, nada...

Looking at the webbroker for the U.S. site, it is obvious that we Canadians are getting sucked dry...

I have already convinced my wife, that she needs to switch brokers...

I even informed TWE that I would take half of the money out and place it with another OLB, and the best broker, in the end gets it all...

In Canada, we have a presidents account...we're supposed to be able to phone directly and bypass all the crap...
yet the number has been busy for 1 week straight...

and that's with my phone on auto redial every 3 seconds....

As for me being a basher, or a paid basher...not to worry...TWE knows who I am and how to get a hold of me..they're just avoiding me...

Perhaps they are afraid of a lawsuit, beats me...

Ignoring the problem won't make it go away....

----------------------------------------------
On the flipside, if they can resolve these problems permanently, then what TWE and it's investors will have is a class act site and system.....

Oh another thing, Webbroker Canada, takes 24 hours to update your account, so if you buy shares today, and want to sell them today, you have to phone a broker...which , lately is a 40 minite to 1 hour wait.....a millenium in the stock market.....

Does Webbroker US update in real time?

I just looked at the occount balances menu at the TDwaterhouse account, and they entered a typo on a penny stock I bought......

so at this time the account says I am

-1,826,655,096.00 in arrears....

1 billion 8 hundred 26 million 6 hundred 55 thousand and 96 dollars shy......

wonder if they'll take a cheque.....

how they did this, I just don't know....

Hi Tom, It's like working on your car with an adjustable wrench when you know you should be using a socket. If you round off the bolt head then it's your own fault.

Misapplication of the tool.

People seem to think that perfect execution in the market place is easy. They feel they "deserve" it even if they aren't willing to pay for anything but discount service. This is a "cake and eat it too" thing.

I both own and use TWE. My success rate is higher than yours in that I use their Good for 60 Day Limit Orders that fill automatically when the price target is achieved. This happens whether I'm here at my computer, working on my old cars, playing golf or helping my kid with homework. I was alive and happy before computers and OLB's and I'm still alive and happy.

I can feel the anxiety and stress of these folks that have "problems" with TWE and the other OLB's. It does seem to me that the methods of "investing" being used are not appropriate for the system with which they are attempting to trade. Many are attempting to use arbitrage methods and petit percentage profits for very short term trades. Their goals are so small and so tight that any momentary error in execution is cause for grief. If their goals were set at 20% or 50% or 500%, a moment's miss would NOT turn to disaster. Thomas Phelps said, "The reason people don't make more money in the market is that they set their goals too low."

I hope for TWE's sake and mine as a stockholder that TWE continues to improve their system and infrastructure while remaining profitable.

Best regards, Tom

It's not my most profitable venture yet, but it is in the black.
