Randall,

I was posting via GSM sometime back even at a measly 9.6kbps, even from a train on the way home (I was a little drunk though).

You may not want to agree that Europe is well ahead in the mobile Internet stakes, but it is fact. However, when some silly laws concerning receiving-party-pays is overruled then the US will bounce back, very quickly indeed. Once the market is considered mature, ie, digital mobile saturation, then new services are more likely and the money will flow. Much of the WAP stuff is being driven from the States, however for the International market as it is considered 'mature'.

Cheers,
M
