The Dow, despite the strong drop yesterday, will rally. I'm looking for another sharp drop accompanied by Heavy Volume...something that's been auspiciously absent. When the day comes that the Dow is way off and volume is heavy,(and I don't know when that day will be) there are several ways to go; you can place buy-stops...you can buy a bit on the way down, and continue to buy a bit more as they drop...or, you can buy "in" or very nearly in the money call options. Don't try to pick the bottom, you won't. When they rally starts, be patient...the "sellers" will suddenly stop selling, the shorts will start covering, the buyers will seem to be coming out of the woodwork. For a while it'll be extraordinarily heavy on the buy side. But be a bit patient, then sell some of what you may have bought into the strength. (Lee)
