I think Napster gets the music out to people similar to the 70's when I traded cassettes to my friends. Not many want to buy a CD for $16 when they haven't heard but one song. Many Napster listeners don't have the money to buy all the music they like. The industry thinking they are losing sales is akin to squeezing blood out of a rock. The more people use Napster, the more the MP3 format becomes the leader. MPPP will benefit, because listeners will hear about MPPP artists via trading their MP3 files. Not every song by an artist is free on MPPP and many will paid to get the rest on a CD.
