OJ, no need to respond but it is about time you just recognize that you are nothing more than a speculator, clueless as to valuation of a business. Yep just clueless and perfect for an Ameridtrade advertising shot.

That said is nothing wrong with that and the proof is you can make lots of $$$ just by being stupid and buy what is going up - e.g. momentum play.

Now my point to you is stop pretending you understand business and value and go back to your roots - speculation.

Speculation has it's positive side for the real economy as more and more companies in the businesses prone to speculative stock fever are formed and as a result keep prices of the respective products or services down.

In the long run it is bad for those companies as their profit margin are under pressure and expansion slows down substantially.

Wen the speculators realize that is always to late but that is life.

As I said before no response from you would be appreciated, as I will not respond to you.

Thank you

Haim
IDK

BTW MSFT is not so wildly over prices as the other junk ORCL, CSCO, SUNW, JNPR, QCOM, JDSU, EXDS, CIEN, RMBS, TERN, PUMA, MEDX etc.

OJ have you seen a Naz chart lately?
Do you seriously believe this can go on or do you think you'll be able to sell the moment you see the nasdaq falling at 30-50 point increments?
It's nice you made this money but I hope you're smart enough to play this mania with petty cash and nothing more.

<stock du jour of the week is DCLK>.

Stock du jour means stock of the day. Can only suppose you knew that and purposely phrased it in such a way.

BTW currently holding three biotech stocks for fun but have 98% in cash and gold and silver stocks (GOLD, DROOY, ASA, PAAS)

true OJ, the techs you mentioned are growing at a good clip.

However, the free market has not been suspended for the techs...do you remember Dell's Qtr 4 1995? A disappointment.

Do you remember CSCC (Cascade Communications)? I'm sure you do. And how about ASND? Seems like for both of those hot companies, they hit some serious slow patches.

Do you remember ORCL a few years ago? When the stock plummeted due to slow growth in Europe? Do you remember Larry Ellison laughing about ORCL stock taking something like a one-day ~25-30% haircut?

Of course you remember all of these, OJ. But a lot of people out there have no idea that even blue-chip tech profits can and do hit air pockets. As a matter of fact, LU and QCOM just recently warned.

All I'm saying is that this market love affair with tech will have rocky times too.
