When AMD announced its 1GHz Athlon last Monday, it said that it would initially ship them to Gateway and Compaq for use in their PCs, and angered some of its loyal channel partners by so doing.

Daniel,

Unfortunately this is the kind of crap that results from a p*ssing contest...I don't know who the loyal channel partners are but AMD needs to keep all the friends that it has.
