Tef, the premiums on QCOM puts are not that great compared to others, do you agree?

I have a ? for you: you may have read my post yesterday. I've been watching AFFX which is a very interesting biotech stock that makes a chip for gene research. It's really volatile and has extremely rich premiums. So yesterday it went down from 320 all the way to 295. At about 300 I tried to sell the April 260's (strong support) for about 16...the Philadelphia exchange ignored it. About fifteen minutes later, when it was down to 295, and the option was selling for 17 and change, they still ignored my order. So I put in a cancellation, which came back immediately.

Is there anything I can do in such circumstances? Why wouldn't the specialist play? Do you ever find that in opportune situations your trade is just ignored? I felt really frustrated as I've been waiting for an opportunity to sell the puts.

By the way, there wasn't a lot of time to get the option--it bounced back up to 305 within the hour.
