Those MMDS systems are fixed point to point systems in which you have a line of sight dish. Once installed, hope like hell that your neighbor doesn't plant any trees.

There are many good things about it like the high speed, but there are many system disadvantages to it as well. It does not overlap the same design space as HDR very much, unless you were hoping for your HDR system to be the ONLY method of getting IP access to your system.
