I think people are worried there is a bubble, but they are also too greedy to get out now. I think it will take just one major event, perhaps external, to pop the bubble. China-Taiwan conflict, another earthquake, or maybe just JDSU not exceeding earnings expectations...

i always thought that most of the people that count do know it's a bubble, notwithstanding the fact that they say otherwise publicly.
deep down most people are probably afraid of the possibility of it bursting...which is why i expect every trick in the book to be pulled to keep it going, from manipulation of the futures to printing by the Fed. in fact that is what is happening anyway...
the bears have only the consolation that one day the bag of tricks won't be enough...
