To anyone short RMBS, or wondering if there is any steam left in their impressive run:

Whatever your belief on fundamentals, or long term stock price, the news of Samsung increasing RDRAM production fivefold does not seem to have hit Wall Street. I would say it is not priced into the stock. Neither is the Micron RDRAM announcement far off. This could be an opportunity.

Steve, if you don't want to discuss the technology, please say so. I'm not the one who claimed to be 'altruistically sharing'. Do you agree that Rambus's bus efficiency > SDRAM's > DDRDRAM's @ 85%/75%/65%? Have you got qualitative or quantitative comments (ideally with links or references) to the judgements on that matrix regarding latency, peak and effective bandwidth, power consumption, or others? Again, just say the word if you're not interested in posting, and I will cease replying to you. -mb
