Just in case no one has noticed, ENON earnings: euro909.com Reports 1999 Preliminary Results: Annual Revenues Increase 140 Percent Over the Prior Year and Quarterly Revenues Increase 400 Percent from the Comparable Quarter COPENHAGEN, Denmark--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2000--euro909.com A/S (Nasdaq:ENON - news; Warrant:ENONW) today released unaudited preliminary results for the year ended December 31, 1999. Net revenues were approximately US $16.7 million compared to approximately US $7 million for the year ended December 31, 1998. The company expects to report a net loss of approximately US $5.8 million for 1999 as compared to a net loss of approximately US $3.2 million for 1998. The company's acquisition of the Digiweb domain registration and Web-hosting business, which was completed in January of 2000, as well as revenues from the TV Bio television channel, which commenced broadcasting on New Years Day, are not reflected in the results for the year and quarter that ended on December 31, 1999. In the fourth quarter of 1999, net revenues were approximately US $6.6 million compared to approximately US $1.3 million for the comparable quarter in 1998. The company incurred a net loss of approximately US $3.3 million for the fourth quarter of 1999, compared to net loss of approximately US $937,000 during the fourth quarter of 1998. ``During 1999, we saw euro909.com make a number of acquisitions, and now we are beginning to experience the results: growing revenues and expanding business activities throughout the euro909.com business platform,' explained Aldo Petersen, chief executive officer for euro909.com. ``Our results in 1999 were impacted by the absorption of our strategic acquisitions in Internet-related business areas. We plan to continue expanding through acquisitions and growth of existing business, while utilizing our position in being listed on the NASDAQ to pursue those acquisitions goals. It is my strong belief that euro909.com holds a distinct advantage over many of our competitors in Europe by having that U.S. listing. ``Today, euro909.com is much more favorably positioned than a year ago to exploit the tremendous opportunities within the Scandinavian and European markets, offering top-level domain registration, e-business, media content, Web design, and Web-hosting to any ever-expanding customer base,' Petersen continued. ``Top-level domain registration and high quality Web-hosting, specifically, has become one of our major product lines within a variety of Internet services, and we expect the recurring revenues from the yearly maintenance fees to contribute increasingly to our growth in the coming years.'
