Well, um, yes. But why, specifically, did he find her "unrecognizable"? It could be important, you never know.

I have to say that her supposed last words--I can't believe you're doing this!--really do suggest that she knew her killer. It isn't something you'd say to a mugger, for instance: you know perfectly well why he's doing it.

A greater effort needs to be made to find out whether it was indeed Suzanne who was heard saying that. Who's the witness? And...were there REALLY all these people who heard an altercation, and not ONE even bothered to look out the window?
