I know that SanDisk has been doing well, but it's hard to imagine that business is keeping pace with the stock price. According to my calculations, the price has tripled in three months this year. Nice, but . . .

Binx, Thank goodness for the TRGpro and for posting that press release today. TRG is a CompactFlash supporter!

The thing that has irked me to no end is Palm's pedestrian pace in adopting such niceties as a color screen and expandable memory. It is very frustrating...

Although @Hand technology is renowned for its sophisticated compression engine, Palm OS customers remained limited by memory available on their hardware device. The release of the reader coincides with the release of a number of memory expandable hardware devices. The Handspring Visor offers users a proprietary memory upgrade, and the recently released TRGpro allows customers to add virtually unlimited memory to their Palm OS device through implementation of industry standard CompactFlash technology.

I contacted GPS manufacturers, on-line content resellers (Audible.com and ConceptKitchen (Lonely Planet books)) and several medical reference sites (including the PDR people) who have elected to use various proprietary (Franklin cartridges) flash memory solutions or solely Palm platforms for distribution. I am trying to let them know they are missing the boat by not gravitating toward CompactFlash or by not supporting WinCE. Windows CE has been a very good SanDisk supporter by the way.
