Wolf...It looks like the E! has all the good picks on stocks these days...she has been having a lot of "fun". Another LTXX? -- we should live so long. <G>.. I did sell 100 shares of LTXX (at 48 1/4) purely because calculations showed that made it a "50-bagger" from the Oct '98 low....never had one that I can think of before...(nor did I buy at the low here, but did hold it through) I looked at PALM, but couldn't find a way to justify the price... Do you think there is something there? If we get any new, "hot" ones, we'll pass them on...but I'd keep an eye on E!'s calls -- she's hot! tso

Wolf, Your earlier year advice regarding the market in view of Greenspans actions was excellent. Too bad I didn't heed it, despite the fact that I agreed with it-- couldn't stand to be out of the market that much. As regards PALM, I finally decided it was worth buying and leaped in today....too early again, I'm sure. If our '73 -- '74 experience is any guide, we don't have any huge profits coming for any risk we undertake until the longer term, but the short term profits into '75 were enormous, so I'm playing the game one more time. Hope it works -- don't think I could really afford to do it again. Are you getting any more hopeful, now that it appears Greenspan will almost be forced to act no later than Jan? tso
