<<WIND in ELON>>

Is ARM involved in any way in this chain? ARM is designing low power RISC chips to go into various devices in appliances, phones, cars, etc. Does/can WIND's software run on ARM's chips to be controlled by ELON?

<WIND in ELON>

I read the same thing: that WIND is the undiscovered gem
in this whole thing. I don't understand how.

ELON's Neuron chip certainly does not involve a WIND
install. This is the hardware that goes in those millions
of little (or big) sensors. This would have been the
great opportunity.

The monitor software runs with WIND as well as Windows,
Linux, SunOS and may be some more operating systems.

Dinesh

that suggested WIND was inside nearly all the Echelon devices. Is this true?

thanks for giving me that post #.
i attended the conference with JW...i deliberately did not read his post...because i wanted to give my own perspective and then see if we differ. i'll read it today.

your ?.....yes, elon's server uses wind OS...i asked the engineer myself...beyond that i do not know if the devices themselves all use wind. the server interfaces with windows.

i believe elon is the defacto standard in their space.
i believe wind has a great chance to accomplish the same.
