Brown oil analyst Dave Wheeler Wednesday increased his 2000 earnings per share estimates for the exploration and production stocks by a whopping 51 percent for 2000 and 13 percent for 2001. ``The independent producers are expected to generate significant growth in earnings and cash flow during 2000-01. The growth rates over the next two years should stack up very well against virtually any other sector in the market,' Wheeler said in a research note.
