Gersh, the option market makers don't make money on options all the time. They try to make it most of the time. Also, it is never clear what price the options were bought and sold (from historic data), who bought and sold, making the analysis very difficult.
Of course, the house has to make enough money to stay alive and by that token, they must be manipulating the market a little bit sometimes. But the market is too big for these folks to manipulate, Greenspan hasn't been able to manipulate it, why do you think these guys can ? They just are better traders than most people give them credit for.

BTW, I saw that the MAX PAIN point for dell is 40 and for CSCO it is 125 for March, intel - 105, AMD 37.5. Let's see what happens on expiration date. It is just 10 days away.
