Tony,

RE: Rambus - "OK on the lawsuit, but what happens if all the high risk technology aspects make simpler DRAM forms win out?"

Could happen. More likely Rambus will lose the lawsuit.

RE: "However, since my biggest position is in Intel, I do have an ax to grind when it comes to companies on which Intel is so reliant."

Reading between the lines, I have a feeling that Intel has an exit strategy prepared if Rambus isn't the technology that they feel is best for the future. I have noticed a warming to Rambus on the AMD thread, and it is possible that AMD/Rambus may be in the cards.

You are much more of an expert, but it appears that PC's are just one use of Rambus memory.

BTW, I don't have a position at this point in Rambus (unfortunatly). I really wish a expert Rambus person would step in to this conversation, I would like to learn more.
