HP Announces Fastest HP Pavilion Home PC; HP Includes 1.0GHz Intel Pentium III Processor BUSINESS WIRE - March 08, 2000 08:03 PALO ALTO, Calif., Mar 8, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Hewlett-Packard Company, a leader in the home-PC market, today announced an HP Pavilion home PC that includes the Intel(R) Pentium(R) III 1 gigahertz (GHz) processor, the fastest Intel processor for the consumer PC market.
