Mike,

On one hand I hear that the USA is growing too fast, which is inflationary. On the other hand, I hear that it is not growing at all. So, is there a stealth stagflation going on or what!?

The carry trade is the means and not the cause. If tippet loses money by betting on poots, the poots by themselves are not causing him any loss of money, his lack of investing savvy is. Don't confuse the two. Otherwise, you will sound like the so-called dumb bulls who claim that evil shorts drive down the price of equities.

If increased Govt. spending and higher inventories accounted for a large part of the growth, surely interest rates should be not be raised, as these are one-offs? Do you agree? Please do not sidetrack this question.

Also, are you against increased consumer spending and wealth creation? What happened to the American dream?

Guess why Clinton has such sky-high job approval ratings?
