Hi milo - re: OT OT Free PC's and Internet access to INTC employees.

This was announced yesterday (would have rather had 1GHz, but what the heck :-)). I posted about this on the Intel thread. I am obviously pretty excited about the equipment, but I am also very positive that it appears that all Intel employees will be able to access and maintain their personal Benefits packages, (401k's, medical and dental, stock stuff, etc.,) and other neat stuff on the Intel Intranet, from home via secured ADSL access. Pretty "with it", IMO.

PB

Milo - RE: "An Intel spokesman said the company plans to give its employees high performance PCs, with Pentium III processors running at clock speeds of 667 megahertz. "They are pretty richly configured," Mulloy said."

I wonder if "richly" means it will contain DRDRAM. If so, maybe this will help lower DRDRAM prices somewhat in time for Willy. ;)
