Anyone from North Platte or Ogallala? Compaq shipped several box cars of machinery from Old Mass. to Californy to build this new "Wilfire" superduper computer and they apparently never got there. It would be neat if some locals checked the railroad sidings there abouts 'cause if they got mixed in with a string of "empties", they may not be found until after the wheat harvest. ('course one excuse is about as believable as another when it comes to Compaq.) The other possibility is that equipment was missent to AMD's apocryphal Dresden Fab 30, which may actually exist after all. They are just having a little problem trying to make Athlons our of Alphas.
