Earlie, there is an interesting article on tomshardware concerning Intel and Rambus:

The conclusions are "interesting".

The funny thing when ABC News ran the segment tonight on how the national debt was falling, they showed the national debt clock. The jerks showed only the last three digits turning over. No one could tell what was really happening to the debt since it was just rolling over one thousand dollars at a time, which in the government will get you a cup of coffee and a Congressional Quarterly.

Earlie,

I would prefer to postpone the budget surplus and national debt issue for a year.

Social Security is mandated by law to invest in Treasury bonds, which are IOUs by definition. So, I do not understand your point there. Even cash is an IOU for that matter.
