Soros: Agilent has developed what may be a terrific advance but I do not think it constitutes what Gilder has referred to as a "full fledged vessel already." I think the company he is talking about is ADAP which does have a wireless optical system up and running, covering the southern half of Oxford, UK, and performing well at high speed. It is a system that can be implemented quickly at low cost, leapfrogs existing infrastructure, is high performance, and does not, in the US, need licensing or right of way, etc.
