ú JDSU hosted upbeat analyst meeting 3/7/00 at the Optical Fiber Communications Conference; Company mgmt outlined JDSU's product positioning and roadmap within 3 main product categories.

ú Transceivers: Traditional business (OC-48 and CATV transmitters) remains robust; JDSU heavily focused on OC-192 market opportunity; Short haul 10Gbps transceiver module currently shipping and intermediate/LH 10Gbps transceiver module to ship in FQ4:00; Other 10Gbps products incl APD receiver and NRZ data modulator (both shipping) as well as EML lasers (in field trials); Tunable laser also key new product focus.

TP
I am looking at the charts JDSU <might> have a very small gap to fill at 265.

Looking at Thompson I-Watch I see some super buy messages at just over 270. Now I know I-Watch doesn't mean anything to a lot of people but I use it as gage to show a point where the big boys will buy or sell. Just another tool to help us.

Good luck

TP, I like $260 because I must admit I sold a March 260 call against one of my longs for 27 after the stock gapped up to 245-250. I've been finding it psychologically soothing to watch premium bleed away on a short position.
