Anand has got it arse backwards. Intel hasn't been hamstrung because they can't promote RDRAM. Intel shot themselves in the foot with their faulty design and testing of the i820. That shot richocheted into my foot as I was long RMBS at the time, blithely awaiting the successful launch of the i820, and my fortunes. Too bad the team that designed the very successful i840 didn't also do the i820.

So because Intel stepped on their tallywhacker is the reason RMBS took so long to take off. Glad I kept some of my RMBS for the rocket ride the last several weeks. Got out today as I was getting a bad nose bled from the continuing vertical ascent, which suredly must stop very soon now. Or RMBS will own everyone because their valuation will encompass the entire market!
