LiPolymer, yes, I misjudged the market's reaction to the first small steps toward commercialization by VLNC. I would not have dreamed the market would give VLNC a market cap. as high as $1.6 billion on the basis of a few small purchase orders. But in case you hadn't noticed, it has been quite easy to make good money in the market over the last several months even without VLNC in your portfolio.

Personally, I attribute the big runup in VLNC to the current market mania for speculative tech stocks, rather than as a confirmation that the VLNC bulls were right all along. I think the jury is still very much out on that question.

As far as the big picture goes, it may be that 6 months from now, I may be able to chide you for missing the big picture by not selling when you had the chance at $40:-)
